Providing Direct-To-Workforce Training to the Adirondack and Northern NY Region!

We strive to create opportunity and
help change lives.

In the process of recruiting software engineers, Rich and Dan found that there was a significant difference in the skill sets of engineers entering the workforce; where trade school and bootcamp educated students were more prepared vs traditional 4-year students for work in the modern software engineering industry.

By building a school in the North Country Region, Jim quickly realized the potential to bring in technology education, more earning potential and work to fill the >1.6M open software positions looking for quality hires.

UpNCoding was built with the student as the primary focus. Keep costs low, education quality high, and show our students as proof that our formula works. We want to educate the next wave of 'Up-and-Coming' software developers.

Throughout his career he has helped create and mentor departments for various companies and helped in co-founding Roswell Studios, a development shop for small businesses in New York City. Rich is now focused on building an extensive curriculumn in order to empower students to start their careers in a fulfilling software engineering field.

Dan Priece

After graduating with a Masters in Computer Science, Dan jumped directly into the software engineering industry before identifying a gap in the healthcare system with two college classmates. Dan went on to co-found Health Recovery Solutions, a large player in the telehealth industry; serving more than 100k patients, achieving national KLAS recognition for best Remote Monitoring Platform, and building a company value of $250M before making his exit. While working as CTO of Health Recovery Solutions, it was clear to Dan that a gap existed between the skill sets of emerging software engineers and the requirements of a functional software company. Dan has since been hyper-focused on bringing a curriculum of relevant data at low cost to the student in order to provide the next wave of up-and-coming full-stack engineers.
